I first learned of Laura's story while watching a Youtube video called "Dear Mr. Jesus."  After watching that I had to find out more about her story.  To discover that this sweet little girl was savaged by that monster who was then offered a plea agreement of "involuntary manslaughter" just turns my stomach!  That financial adviser guy Madoff in New York got more prison time for stealing people's money than this guy did for stealing this little girl's innocence and then her life!  I can't even imagine the pain this angel went through in the final hours of her life...I cry just thinking about it.  The only relief that can be found is knowing that she's in Jesus's arms at the side of God now.  My prayers are with her family and friends I hope they can eventually find peace.  As for Bruce Lower I hope that no matter where he goes his neighbors find out who he is and what he did so he will never have a chance to victimize someone again.  I also hope the laws in Ohio are changed so that there is a longer mandatory sentence and better parole rules.  God bless all the lost little angels... My heart is hurting in pain. My stomach is hurting so much as i just read this article. Poor poor poor little prrincess.. why why why why is this happening.... what is wrong with justice... why is this beast not behind bars..       It breaks my heart to hear about precious children that should be out chasing butterflies or playing in the sand are taken from us all from the evils of this world. Sometimes, I think ..."where is the justice"? I have to remember that God is the ultimate judge and maybe you can walk through life violating others but one day you WILL be judged...Don't cry for those innocent children for they are no longer hurting, they are in the arms of the Lord...Yes, when they leave this world we are all saddened as we miss them so but where else could they be so safe and sound but in the arms of the Lord...I do pray that this predators of children live each day with what they have done and it remains fresh in their minds.... The fact that this scumbag got away with what he did to this poor little angel sickens me. I cried while reading Laura's story..this should have never happened!! Why didn't CPS do more? Why were the police not called when he answered the door with only a robe on and Laura crying, naked in the hall. It angers me so much that he basically got a slap on the hand and was sent back out to possibly do this again. Our "justice" system is a joke.


My thoughts go out to Laura and her family and all that have helped her even after her death. Laura, sweetie, you are a beautiful angel up in heaven. Rest easy sweet darling, no one can hurt you anymore. Close

This is the sickest man I have heard in a long time. This story saddends my heart to think the pain this beautiful little angel went through. This man needs to be behind bars receiving pain from the other inmates that will look at him as a monster. GOD BLESS this angel that now looks down on us all. As a mother of a 2 girls, I feel your pain. I found out 10/25/05 that my oldest daughter (11) was sexually assulted by her step-father for the last 5 years. I had no idea, but I have taken the steps to justify her pain. Unfortunatly, the authorities that I told are doing nothing, I am calling everyday..to no avail. I feel your pain. Close
